Gisele Duprez is a native New Yorker currently residing in Brooklyn. A self-taught photographer, Gisele loves to make photos of people —capturing strangers’ candid moments and interactions—as well as posed portraits. She can also often be found on the ground – getting eye level with animals.
Her work has been featured in magazines, on several online platforms and podcasts, and was selected for a solo show at Harlem’s El Barrio Artspace in December 2018. She has also exhibited her work internationally.
Gisele travels frequently; her favorite destination is Havana; where she spends time exploring her Cuban heritage. She is currently working on a long-term project on Brighton Beach and Coney Island—her “happy place.”
