Ms. Nazanin Noroozi works predominantly in the medium of printmaking, but also incorporates painting and alternative photography processes, exploring new ways to represent the notions of collective memory and diaspora.
Her works focuses on incoherent narratives of people who have outlived harsh tyrannies and transient moments of the day-to-day life that become fragile and heroic at the same time.
Nazanin’s work has been widely exhibited in both Tehran and the United States, including the Museum of Russian Art, Noyes Museum of Art, and Columbia University, Beyond The Ban at Susan Eley Fine Art, New York, NY 2017. Also at White Wall Space, NYC, and “A Bridge Between You and Everything” curated by Shirin Neshat at High Line Gallery, NYC among others.
