This animated docu-fiction tells the story of Louly, a young Iranian girl grappling with a choice on her first day of school: should she conform to the dull school uniform or dress as she pleases? Her dilemma is magically eased by the appearance of a mystical teardrop-keeper. This enchanting figure guides Louly through the narratives of women across seven historical periods in Iran, spanning two centuries. These stories showcase the enduring struggle of Iranian women to express themselves through their clothing choices, providing Louly with the wisdom to make her decision.
