About the Performers:
Peyman Salimi, an Iranian-Italian singer-songwriter, guitarist, and music producer, is renowned for his fusion of Persian roots with English-style songwriting. His music, an elegant mix of adult alternative pop/rock, blends guitar and vocals with subtle electronic textures. He debuted with “The Curtain” in 2008 and led The Allophones before his second solo album, “Won Now,” in 2019. His latest work, “The Psychology of Letting Go,” released in June 2023, is a trilingual masterpiece that delves into love, self-discovery, and the intricacies of human connections.
Zoe Guigueno, a bassist and songwriter based in New York, is known for her work with Laura Cortese & the Dance Cards, Michael Winograd & the Honorable Mentshn, and the Faux Paws. Her latest solo album, “We Were Radar Stations,” has been a significant addition to the Americana and folk music landscape.
